Call for Abstracts


Abstract

Authors are invited to submit one page abstracts, briefly stating the objectives, results and conclusions of the work to be presented at the Conference.

Authors are asked to prepare Abstracts in the form of PDF (Portable Document Format) which must be in accordance with the below given templates. An example of the Abstract form in the PDF format is given here.

In order to submit your Abstract contribution please access Conference Management System. The first step is creation of a user account in the Conference Management System, after which you may proceed to the submission. In case of any difficulties with accessing the System and submitting the abstract please do not hesitate to contact us via email: ecf24@fsb.hr.

Abstract Selection Process

The corresponding author (presenter) will receive an e-mail with the result of the review and the Scientific Committee's decision on the submitted abstract after submitting the abstract. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

Both, oral and poster presentations are possible.

The corresponding author should state if oral or poster presentation is preferred.

The following presentation formats are applicable for ECF24:

  1. Oral presentation: PowerPoint presentation
  2. Poster presentation: The authors who will present their work as a poster should bring their posters with them to the conference. Recommended poster size is A0 (841x1189mm). We recommend to use the following template for poster preparation: Microsoft PowerPoint template
Important dates
Full Paper (optional)

Participants are welcome to submit full paper, which will be published in the Conference proceedings in Proceedia Structural Integrity, PSI:
https://www.journals.elsevier.com/procedia-structural-integrity

Full papers prepared for Proceedia Structural Integrity issue ECF24 shall consist of a minimum of 3 (three) pages and a maximum of 7 (seven) pages. The PSI ECF24 Full Paper template will be posted on this web page soon.

Submission of your Full Paper contributions is organized through the Conference Management System on a separate link "Full Paper" under Your submissions.

Please note that submission of the full paper is not compulsory for attending the conference.
